Worship for Slash Christian Church
Thursday Night, March 28, 2024 Maundy Thursday Letting Go It’s About You John 13:1-5 Did you know that in the Gospel of John, Jesus did not tell his disciples he loved them until they had journeyed to Jerusalem for the Passover and were gathered in the Upper Room? This was a powerful moment. The lesson he taught that night became personal to the Disciples and to us. Be with us in worship when we celebrate how the Gospel is about you. Worship for Slash Christian Church Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 Letting Go John 20:1-18 The Re-Creation Story The story of the empty tomb in John’s gospel is one of creation with hints back to Genesis and John 1. The Risen Christ sees Mary just as she is and loves her. The Risen Jesus sees all of us, too, just as we are and offers to re-create us with resurrection life. On Easter Sunday we celebrate the fulfillment of God saving the world through his Son and not condemning the world. Be with us in-person or Livestreamed on CCLI LICENSE No. 1958540
