A Journey to Pentecost
Doubt and Belief
John 20:19-31
We are striving to make Slash Church a place for you to grow in your faith. This Sunday we begin the journey from Easter to Pentecost and the birth of the church as we pick up the 20th chapter of the Gospel of John right where we stopped on Easter.
After the resurrection, Jesus appears to His disciples, including Thomas, who wrestles with doubt. Instead of condemnation, Jesus meets Thomas where he is and invites him to believe. In the same way, Jesus is patient with our doubts and calls us to faith—even when we cannot see with our own eyes.
