"Devoted:Living Immersed and Empowered"
We are beginning a new four-week series together called Devoted. Throughout this series we’re going to look into the lives and routines of the early church as seen in the Acts of the Apostles. As you may know, the early church understood something about gathering together that churches and communities of faith have been modeling for hundreds of years. I think it is important for us here at Slash to remind ourselves of these principles as we begin a new school year. Our series DEVOTED will point to the secret of the early church’s success and perhaps remind us again what it takes to continue to follow their example and continue to live and grow in our faith. I would argue that the “secret” to their success came down to one thing… devotion. Let us explore what we devote our lives to as we worship together this Fall. |
