"The Kingdom of God is Near"

We can easily become distracted by money, influence, love, and other things in this earthly life. Those things, in and of themselves, are not evil. But when we put them before Jesus and our work to advance the Kingdom of God, then they become a stumbling block to our growth in Christ.

Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” As believers, we cannot simply be attendees in the Kingdom of God—we must be investors. Is it enough to just be “saved,” or would you like to take the next step and allow the Kingdom of God to govern your life and to share the good news of the gospel with others?
