"Forerunner"
The story of Jesus' life and ministry begins with the story of John. John was the forerunner, the one who came to prepare the way for the Messiah. We are going to be studying the life of John, the son of Zechariah, who people call "John the Baptist." And I call, "The Forerunner." John was born six months before Jesus, spent less than 2 years doing public ministry, yet Jesus called him, "the greatest person ever born of a woman." John's purpose was to make people ready for the Lord. You know what, this worship series will help us discover that is our purpose too.
